Passionate about dance and it’s allied disciplines, Parimal’s holistic approach of looking at dance makes him an entertainer, creator, scholar, thinker and an educator.

Parimal is a solo dancer’s delight. With expertise in Bharatanatyam, Parimal also dabbles in Contemporary and dance theatre. Parimal believes  “the content inspires the form” and all his choreographies  entertain you with his taste in movement, expression and music.

Parimal is an avid writer with two books on specialised  topics of dance. Published on Kindle, read all over the world.

Armed with a strong voice Parimal has compered for international, National and corporate events of repute. With articulation being his strong point  he has anchored for several web series. Fluent in Hindi and English, and conversant in Marathi, Bengali and Gujarat Parimal’s multilingualism gives him the edge over others as an anchor.

Worked with prominent  advertisement agencies in ideating and visualizing  events. With the understanding of the process  Parimal knows to crack an idea and take it through till its ultimate visualisation resulting in a successful product.

Researcher

Conferred with a doctorate in Dance, Parimal’s research has been on the concept of “Nayaka” thereby enhancing the scope of male dancers in the female bastion. Dr. Parimal has been consistently pursuing research in multiple areas and his research papers have been acknowledged in International Conferences every year.

Teacher

He is working as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Performing Arts, SPPU( formerly Univ of Pune)  since 2010. He is a  teacher who goes with the balanced approach of theory and practice, thereby making the students eligible for Bharatanatyam exams. The students are winners of National  and International Dance Competitions, National level scholarships thereby proving themselves as soloists and choreographers.
